Support For Parents

We are delighted to offer a huge range of Career opportunities in and outside of the classroom for all students at The Hart School.

Parents and carers can make an appointment with a member of staff or our Careers Adviser to discuss their child’s progress and future career prospects, including options at age 13. Parents and students will be notified of Careers information events and fairs across the academic year, which may be a useful tool for choosing their future education pathway.

All students at The Hart School have been issued with a login for the platform Unifrog. Via Unifrog, students can access career information, gather an insight into the labour market, complete tasks to develop their understanding of their interests and investigate career paths most suited to them. Students' Unifrog activity is stored and can be used later for securing work experience placements, suitable opportunities to support their identified interests and applying for Post-16 options.

If you have question about the careers programme at The Hart School, please do not hesitate to get in touch with a member of our careers team.  (Please can the phrase ‘careers team’ be hyperlinked to the “Meet the Team” page)

If you would like to arrange a one-to-one careers meeting for your child, you can email Miss Caulfield directly at careers@hartschool.org.uk.

Miss Rowley is a Level 7 Qualified Careers Adviser who provides impartial information, advice, and guidance to students on a one-to-one basis. All students will have an opportunity to meet with Miss Rowley before the end of Year 11 to help them make a personalised plan of action for the future.
