Communication with Home
Our communication with our families
- Every month we will send out a Safeguarding and Hart School Newsletter with key information and highlights of student successes.
- We regularly post the latest news and events on our Facebook page, which can also be viewed on our Latest News page if you do not have access to Facebook.
- For more urgent or important items, we will email you and ‘phone you too.
To support us in working with you at home, we ask the following:
- Please ensure that you provide us with the most up to date email address and contact numbers so we can ensure our Management Information System (ARBOR) is up to date and you can be contacted easily by staff using the system.
- Your child’s tutor is your first point of contact if you have a non-urgent concern general concern. Our tutors all teach, so they will always get back to you but it may be in 24-48 hours.
- If your concern is about a subject, please contact your child’s subject teacher. They are the best person to have an overview of your child. Our teachers are in the classroom all day most days, so they will always get back to you but it may be in 24-48 hours later.
- If you have a more urgent concern, please contact your child’s Head of Year. You can always leave a message for their Student Support Officer (SSO). If you need to talk to them, they will always aim to call you back that day.
